| Windows Vista Ultimate x64; Windows Server 2003 Enterprise; Windows Server 2008 Enterprise | There goes another problem with Virtual Server 2003 SP1 Enterprise. Hey folks, Expecting an answer here for this now. I've got a Windows Vista Ultimate x64 as mah host. I have installed Virtual Server 2005 SP1 R2. I am able to install it fine and without any issues. The problem arises when I try to start any Virtual Machine. When I go to Server Administration website, I can start my server but couldn't open the connection console and the website loves to allow me to run Active-X controls, but however, this website is in mah Trusted sites list and Security level for that zone is set to low. When I try to start either my Remote Control Client, it just doesn't opens. I monitored the same using task manager and I could notice that a service/process starts and it just disappears nowhere. Same happens when I installed VMRC+(Thinkin that it might help me) But unlucky me! :'( There is no application/system logs, nor there is a log in Virtual Server either so, I am clueless of what happens. I uninstalled everything and installed them again by executing the installation files from a elevated command prompt but still no go(Source: Virtual PC Guy's WebLog : Using Virtual Server on Windows Vista without running IE "as administrator") I bet that it is something to do with my computer configuration as I bet that it would work fine if I could remote to my server from a different PC(Though I haven't tried one cos, I don't have any other computers on LAN) I am still not sure of what wrong I do, but I still go around in merry circles! :P Latest update is that I have even tried applying the update for Virtual Server 2005 (KB) but that didn't either fix the issue. And I am trying to fix the issue for about 3 weeks till now with no improvement! ![]() Any help is really appreciated. Thanks, MuthuKumar. P muthu(dot)kumar(at)fixus.ath.cx P.S.
