New Virtual Server user question

Hi all,
I have Virtual server running on windows 2003 standard SR2. My guest
Operating system in 2003 server sr2. When I connect a USB drive to the host,
it is detected and installed Automatically but does not show up on the Guest
OS.

None of the Microsoft Virtualization products support USB in a guest.

It won't. there is no USB support in Virtual Server.
If you want to access that drive you'll need to use standard network
sharing.

http://www.fabulatech.com has a usb over network utility that works nicely.
I've not used it for VS, but do use it for sharing host usb devices to
guest.
