openSuSE and Virtual Server 2005

I'm attempting to install openSuSE 11.1 on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 and
running into a number of problems with it. I'm attempting to do the install
through VNC and it appears to constantly drop packets and connections. At
times it randomly freezes during the installation. Restarting may or may
not get further into it. At one point, I got it completly installed, but
the networking was horribly unstable.

I know that this isn't an officially supported OS, but I was hoping someone
may have some hints as to how I might get this working just for my testing
purposes.

Re: openSuSE and Virtual Server 2005

Wish I could help you, but as it is not an officially supported OS and since
I know next to nothing about Linux distributions, I can't. Have you
considered simply using Server 2008 / Vista / etc.?

Hope this helps,
--Ryan
