"Virtual Image Use Rights" and the ITANIUM platform: is there anycompetitive virtualization solution?

I wonder if there is a competitive virtualization solution running on
Windows Server 2008 Itanium Edition? Does anyone have experience with that?

I ask myself what's the use of having unlimited "Virtual Image Use
Rights" included in this special edition if there is no way to use it.

I don't really understand the question. Virtual Image Use Rights does not
have anything to do with the actual virtualization system you use. It is
purely a licencing thing. If you have Enterprise Edition you can run a
server OS on four virtual machines on that system without needing additional
licences.

The OP is looking for an Itanium VM solution.

Pardon me, I dont understand the answer. I know, that "Virtual Image Use
Rights" only deals with licensing. But it's a nearby question if there
is any virtualizing software for the ia64-platform.
I'm primarly talking about data centre software. I can't imagine that
someone uses Itanium-edition for testing purposes only.

Microsoft does not offer any virtualization solutions for ia64 CPUs.

Here's what I found from a google search...
