anit-virus - on host or guest

Using hyper-v 2008 (gui)

1. Should i install anti-virus on the host itself or anti-virus in every
guest images ?
2. In CORE server with hyper-v role, there isn't any GUI interface, should i
install anti-virus in the guest images ?

AV on the host won't protect the guests. AV in the guests won't
protect the host.

Therefore i shld have AV on both hosts and guests.
