Can not find registered VM's

Hi

Can anyone tell me where Virtual Server stores information about registered
virtual machines?
I have my virtual machines on an external Harddisk, that is provided
different drive-letters each time I connect it to the PC. Consequently
Virtual Server is not able to find previously registered virtual machines.
Can I manually configure the location of a previously registered .vmc file
somewhere?

The shortcuts thta are listed in the VPC2007 console are stored here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Virtual PC\Virtual Machines

They are just ordinary shortcut files and by opening their property
page (after rightclick) you can edit the location if you like.
But it seems a hassle to do this every time....

Why not use disk manager to assign a drive letter to your USB disk
instead so that it always connects as the same letter? Much simpler.
This is what I did anyway...

OK, I forgot I was in the VirtualServer newsgroup...
Here is the path to the shortcuts for VS2005:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Virtual
Server\Virtual Machines
