| | Hyper-V Hello The host server that i am using has two physical nics. When i installed Hyper-v it didnt give me the option of chocing a nic, it only listed one nic. Once the hyper V installation was over, i went to the second nic, (hyper-v is not using) and i noticed the ip address for this nic was the same as the the first nic (hyper-v is using) when i try and change the ip address on this nic i get an error saying the same ip address is being used on another nic on the system, and i cant change the ip address on the nic. This seems very wierd to me its like the Hyper-V app has taken control over the nics and it wont allow me to edit them. What i would like to do is have the option to use either one of the nics or both nics when i create an image. Example I am creating a CCR exchange 2007 cluster nic1 would be (10.7.13.55 external) and nic2 would be (192.168.1.1 cluster private) the second node in the cluster is a physical box, and i have a cross over cable going from one of the nics on the physical box to the nic with 192.168.1.1 on the hypver-V server. I cant for the life of me use nic2 in hyper-V nor can i edit any of the nics on the hyper-v box. How can i fix this issue? thanks |

| | Re: Hyper-V that sounds odd. In my case It did give me a choice which nic to use while telling me to reserve the other one for RDP access for the host server "skip" <shofmann@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:084A8841-0F4F-4657-BA27-F64B90FEBE2F@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello > > The host server that i am using has two physical nics.
