IIS install

on this xp pro sp2 updated to sp3 with latest update, I am having hard time
geting IIS and www service for Virtual server 2005 R2.

I tried removing IIS in windows comoponent, reboot, add iis when it asked me
of xp disk I put in the sp2 disk. ( I dno't have sp3 disk)

I also tried different combination of removing parts of IIS reboot and add
back, no luck

is there a version of iis like v6 I can download from microsoft? I saw
manager, resource kit tools but not iis itself

what else can I do

Re: IIS install

thx

Looks like I will be trading IIS for .net framework 3.
that would, unfortunately, mean more evaluation this particular environment

Re: IIS install

Btw, can any tell me what is the load like on a P4 3Ghz 2GB Ram (533Mhz)
between using IIS vs VMRCPlus with .net 3 framework?

what about the foot print in terms of system drive, and RAM?
