| Guest | Hyper-V Backup/Restore on another computer Hello everyone I am currently trying to create a backup strategy for our network. I know that in order to move a hyper-v guest server from one host to another you have to use the export command in order to move it. I am currently using Windows Backup to backup the hyper-v gues and have sucessfully restore the virtuals on the same machine. But my problem is that I cannot restore the same virtual to another Hyper-V server. This is quite promblamtic for me because if one of our Hyper-V servers fail. I would like to quicklly migrate our virtuals over to a second Hyper-V server. And importing/exporting is not a option since the virtuals need to be online 24/7 Does anyone have any ideas as a good way to restore a virtual on another server without using import/ export? Thanks for your help ! |
