    vs2005 64bit + vmrc on 32bit xp machines

Hello, I am going crazy trying to set up this environment:
    - a windows server 2003 64bit running on a x64 machine
    - several win xp pro 32 bit workstations on 32 bit machines

I created on the server a win xp 32bit virtual machine but there is no way
to let vmrc connect with it from the xp workstations.
It always gives me a "connection to server has been lost".
I verified permissions on Com, IIS and vs2005 itself but I was not lucky.
    Using vmrc server-to-server works perfectly.
I am starting to think that I can not do a thing like this. Could anybody
    help me?
    Thanks a lot, Matteo

Why would you want to connect to the vm from a workstation using vmrc?

How have you configured the networking? If you are using the default
setup (to let the vm use the physical NIC in the host machine), the vm
should look just like any other workstation on your LAN, and you use normal
network sharing to access files on it.

To connect directly to the vm from a workstation and have the vm's
desktop displayed, use Remote Desktop, not vmrc.

Verifed that the firewall on the host or server isnt' blocking the
