Vista Tutorial - Hyper-V cached physical memory

My host has 32 GB of RAM

Task manager says I have nearly 10 GB of 'cached' memory, so my VM won't
start (even though the sum of memory allocated for all the VMs is less than
25 GB)

How can I free up this memory? (short of a reboot)

??

I have 32 GB total

I have about 22 GB allocated to existing VMs

The VM that wouldn't start was allocated 2 GB

I realize that the parent requires some RAM, but it shouldn't be more than a
couple of GB

It seemed that this 'cached' memory was unavailable for allocation to a
Hyper-V VM, which is problematic
