| | VMM 2008 Restore After reading the help file for VMM 2008 about restoring, I am thoroughtly confused. I understand the steps for backing up and restoring the physical database. However, in the steps it indicates that if you restore the database to server with a different SID, then you must reassociate the hosts with the VMM Server. However, I would think that this would apply only in scenarios where the VMM server and the database are on the same server. The help file doc is here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../cc956045.aspx Can anyone clarify? Thanks, -Byron |
