| Guest | SCVMM and perimeter host I have SCVMM, newly purchased, installed on a domain member. I have a stand-alone Hyper-V host (2008 Server), which I am trying to add to the SCVMM console. I have installed the 'local agent' on the Hyper-V host and copied the security file to my SCVMM system. When I try to add the host, I keep getting this error: Error (426) The agent is not responding on the perimeter network machine VALACAR because either the agent is not installed; or VALACAR is not accessible from Virtual Machine Manager server. Recommended Action Verify that the agent is installed on the computer, VALACAR is accessible from the Virtual Machine Manager server, and then try the operation again. I have turned off the firewalls on both systems, so I don't think that is the problem. Thoughts? Blake |
