hyper-v licencing

Hello. I know that standard and enterprise editions allow respectively 1 and
4 virtual servers to be installed.
During tests with Win200 standard x64, i was allowed to install 2 virtual
servers.
How does the restriction apply? The second virtual server will stop working?
Or is it only licensing restriction and not "physical"?

Regards, Peter

Re: hyper-v licencing

It's a licensing restriction not a physical restriction. You can run as many
child partitions as you have licenses for and the hardware can handle.
