| | Hyper-V Server need AV? Hi friends, I have a doubt... as I understand Hyper-V Server 2008 is a lightweight layer of OS who administer all VMs, but if it's in essence MS Windows... shoud I install an Antivirus Software to it? or Can I be so carefree about Hyper-V Server? HB |

| | RE: Hyper-V Server need AV? You should plan to install an antivirus solution on your Hyper-V Server just as you would on any other server in your environment. But, if configured incorrectly you could have problems with you VM running correctly.
