New to VS and I have a question about 64 bit.

If you physcial server is 2003 or 2007 x64 OS running virtual server can the
guest OS be 32 bit or do they have 64 bit.
and on the flip side can a 32 bit host have 64 bit virtual servers?

is this true for Virtual PC as well?

Can anyone recommend a good starting book to read to learn MS virtual
servers?

Thanks

Actually, both Virtual Server and Virtual PC cannot run 64-bit OS's in
a VM, they can only be 32-bit. The 64-bit version of VPC and VS are
just so they can run on a 64-bit host OS.

It depends on the virtualization product, but

http://www.amazon.com/Professional-M...1207359&sr=8-1

is a great one for Virtual Server 2005.
