Portability for Hyper-V

I am having a hard time figuring this out.

Currently, I run a VS2005 system, but we are considering upgrading it to
Hyper-V. In the event of a demonstration, and the network / Internet
connection is down, I need my salesman to have a backup copy of the image on
an external drive. Is it difficult (possible?) to export a Hyper-V image so
that it could run on a VPC2007? Would it change anything if it was running
on a Windows 7 machine?

Would SCVMM make this change easier? Are there any other products which can
help with this scenario?

Thank you,

CJM

It's pretty difficult, and the changes would require reactivation as
well. (if it's XP or above).

The emulated hardware differences, the drivers from the
addition/integration components, and the HAL differences all have to
be accounted for.
