Installation of KB948515

For test purposes I want to install Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 on a Vista
Ultimate SP2 desktop. This should be possible by additionally installing
KB948515. I stopped the VS services and tried to install KB948515 with admin
rights. The installation is interrupted after a few seconds. No error
message. A message box merely states the installation was interrupted and
can be retried at another time. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help
Jan

Re: Installation of KB948515

You already have Virtual Server R2 SP1 installed? KB948515 is an
update to that and can't be installed without it already being there.

Re: Installation of KB948515

If you already have the right version installed (R2 SP1) I don't know
what the problem might be.

You might make sure you're running the patch as administrator, though
I've not seen that problem.
