| | 2008 R2 Hyper-V Dual NIC issues I have a Dell T300 with 2 Dual NICs (1 Intel Pro/1000 PT and 1 Broadcom NetXtreme) as well as 1 single Intel NIC. When I create a virtual network using any of the dual NIC ports and attach it to the VM (which is also W2k8 R2) the guest cannot connect to the network. If instead I use a legacy adapter and use the same port, I can connect. I don't have this issue with the single port NIC. I don't have teaming enabled and I even tried to disable one of the Broadcom NICs in the BIOS and it still did not help. Am I missing something here? I have another T300 running W2K8 (not R2) and I don't have this issue (granted the guest is W2K3). If anyone has any ideas.. Please let me know. |
