Hyper v win2008 r2

Hi

If I want to implement live migration with 2 win2008 r2 server.
My q. is do I need that the 2 server will have the same hardware? or can it
be 2 diffrent servers?

They do not need to be identical servers, though there are some advantages
to their having similar CPUs.
