| | VM Network Adapter Loses Static IP When moved to another Hyper-V S I've been having a problem every time I move a VM to another Hyper-V Parent server. When I move it and launch it, I notice that the static IP is gone, and it switches to DHCP. The parent Hyper-V servers that I'm using have the same Broadcom NICs, with the same driver installed. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so, have you found a solution to this? |

| | Re: VM Network Adapter Loses Static IP When moved to another Hyper-V S This happens because it sees the network card as new when it moves to a different host. And, of course, the default behaviour for a new NIC is DHCP. Do the Hyper-V Networks have the EXACT same name on both machines? -- Charlie. http:/msmvps.com/blogs/xperts64 "Spock" <Spock@newsgroup> wrote in message news:E37389C7-93C7-40DD-95AB-AA9289CE3B84@newsgroup Quote: > I've been having a problem every time I move a VM to another Hyper-V > Parent > server.
