| | Hyper-V-Manager and access to W2008 R2 Hyper-V Server? Hello, I enabled Remotedesktop on the W2008R2 Hyper-V Server. I can access this server now remotly - fine. I switched to my W2008R2 Server and try to acces this Hyper-V Server with the Hyper-V-Manager. I enter the IP (both are in the same Workgroup) the Remote Server Name shows up, tries to connect but fails with "with the RPC-Service on 10.0.0.30 no connection possible. Check the RPC-Service"). I activated on the remote Hyper-V Server: 1) MMC Remoteadmin 2) Windows Powershell 3) Remoteadmin for Servermanager Any idea? (I also installed the Updates) |

| | RE: Hyper-V-Manager and access to W2008 R2 Hyper-V Server? I connected remotely to the server ( net use x: \\... ) and inserted the IP in the host file ... then I was able to use the Hyper-V-Manager ... But somehow (i guess) not the right way?
