I thought this was supposed to work out of the box. I have Hyper-V
running on Windows Server 2008 R2. I installed the Win 7 guest on
it. But I can't get out on the network (Internet or my local).
However, all my XP VM's work flawlessly.

I can't install integration services becuase it says they're already
installed.

The "hardware" setup for Win 7 is the same as the XP boxes.

Any ideas would be great!

correct, Win7 ICs are already part of the OS.

Can you please check in the device manager if you have any "unknown" devices
?
Can you share your ipconfig /all ?
Are u using a legacy or synthetic network apapter ? Try to use an synthetic
if you don't need PXE boot.
Other VMs which are using the same virtual switch can connect to outside ?
