    Frozen VM

I am running Virtual Server 2005 on a Windows 2003 server. I have a gust VM
on this server that is also a 2003 server. The VM is in a frozen state and I
can't get VS2005 to shut it down or stop it. Even if I completely shutdown
the host server, when I start it back up and go to the VS2005 console my
guest VM is still sitting there frozen.

My question is, how can I get VS2005 stop or kill this guest VM so that I
can attempt to start up this guest VM normally?

can you stop the VS service?
is the VM in a "saved stated", look for the .vsv files and see if you
    can delete?
are there any entries in the event viewer?
