The file format is mostly the same but there are size limitation
differences between the 3.
However, the emulated hardware is VERY different. You can't expect a
VPC/VS VM to run in Hyper-V (though it mostly should), and a hyper-V
VM will not run in VS/VPC if it's got the integration components
installed or is Hyper-V aware.
No clue if that's your problem, just general info.
