as you can ping the VMs there is a network communication possible, therefore
check if the VMs firewalls allows RDP and also if RDP is generally enabled
on your these systems.
How to enabled rdp in the windows firewall (works still for Win7/W2K8) ?
netsh firewall set service type = remotedesktop mode = enable http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...51(WS.10).aspx
How to enabled RDP ?
1. Control Panel
3. Advanced System Settings -> Remote -> "Allow...." for Win7/W2K8 or
"Enable...." for W2K3/XP
