Parental Controls -- Downloads

I'm finding Windows' parental controls quite unwieldy, if I understand them
well. Our computer automatically downloads a benign update for FireFox, for
instance, but then Windows Parental Controls blocks my kids from using the
computer until I can be there to enter my password to allow that simple auto
download to go ahead. This seems excessive, and I can't find a way to
configure this well.

Re: Parental Controls -- Downloads

Hello,

I've tried configuring Firefox in order to test this problem, and I haven't
found a way.
The problem with it is so that it seems that the EXE file that is updating
Firefox is created just after update, so you can't add it beforehand to the
allowed applications.

Greetings,
