| | I can only log on on one user account I don't know when this happened, but my wife tried to log on today and she gets the welcome screen and then a black screen appears and none of her settings load. The same thing happens when I try to log on to the admin account. I have to alt control delete to be able to log on as myself from this position. Does anyone know what has caused this and more importantly how i can fix it? Thanks |

| | Re: I can only log on on one user account Thanks for your input. No it doesn't work. I already have an Owner ac set as admin and that doesn't work either. I have tried creating another user account and copying my wife's settings but that doesn't work either. "P. | | Re: I can only log on on one user account So no one can help me then? I came to the community of experts and I can't find out what has caused this problem or how it should be fixed. If I had to reinstall Vista is there any tutorial that guides me through this process? Thanks "steve" wrote: Quote: > More information > Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium > When I start in Safe mode my wife's account works. > I set up another accoun tin safe mode but his too doesn't work in normal mode > > "steve" wrote: > Quote: > > Vista Home Premium > > > > "Ronnie Vernon MVP" wrote: > > Quote: > > > Steve > > > > > > Which version of Vista are you using? > > > > > > -- > > > > > > Ronnie Vernon > > > Microsoft MVP > > > Windows Shell/User > > > > > > > > > "steve" <steve@xxxxxx> wrote in message > > > news:008757A5-47ED-4529-9B92-AE8D5E69083E@xxxxxx > > > > Thanks for your input. I don't think this is a "community of experts", just a community with (some good) experts who help out. I'm not an expert, I'm just trying to be helpful. Greetings, P.
