| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: password protect folders and files. Usually your files and folders are password protected by having your user account password protected. This is limited though. One method is to encrypt the file or folder. This will prevent any other user account on the computer from opening it, while your user account will be able to open like any other file or folder. You can see how to do this in this tutorial. Encrypt or Decrypt a Folder or File Another method is to use a 3rd party ZIP program that will allow you to compress the folder with password protection. (EX:WinZip) Hope this helps, Shawn |
