| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: I am so confuzed... It depends on how paranoid you are. The safest route is to have two log ins. One for admin, installing new software etc and one for normal usage. Personally I just have one, but I do alot of work on programs and the system as it is only 1 month old and self built. If you have problems useing two log ins then go to using the admin one. Just ensure it is password protected. To add a user go into Control panel --> user accounts. |

| | Re: I am so confuzed... Conventional wisdom says-- Setup a user account seperate from the Admin account, and use the user account for all but the high priority tasks that require the Admin. This is considered as a security measure and supposedly helps prevent malware and the like from infecting the system. It also forces you to do something out of the ordinary if you really want to do something that might be considered stupid under most conditions.
