| | BIOS SETUP PASSWORD I have recently tried to access the bios setup by pressing delete at startup and I am being asked for a password which I have not put one on. is there any way that I can bypass this to change the boot sequence. |

This will require you to look at your MB book to get it right. |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: BIOS SETUP PASSWORD When you clear your cmos, be sure not to have the power lead connected to your computer. ![]() After you have cleared the cmos you will have to go in and change some of the settings as the cmos will reset to factory standards. |

| | Re: BIOS SETUP PASSWORD I think removing the cmos battery should be good enough. Keep it removed for 3 minutes atleast then that should reset the system board to where there i no password.
