BIOS SETUP PASSWORD

I have recently tried to access the bios setup by pressing delete at startup
and I am being asked for a password which I have not put one on. is there any
way that I can bypass this to change the boot sequence.

Try removing the CMOS battery and re-jumpering the pins so the memeory
is wiped out. This will require you to look at your MB book to get it
right.

Re: BIOS SETUP PASSWORD

When you clear your cmos, be sure not to have the power lead connected to your computer.
After you have cleared the cmos you will have to go in and change some of the settings as the cmos will reset to factory standards.

Re: BIOS SETUP PASSWORD

I think removing the cmos battery should be good enough. Keep it removed for
3 minutes atleast then that should reset the system board to where there i no
password.
