Try BurnCDCC.exe at www.terabyteunlimited.com. It's a free utility and
works fine in Vista

Here're a few:
Nero 7.5 and above
Isobuster (latest versioin)
Roxio (latest version)

By the way, you should have the same problem using any other application, no
matter WHICH OS you are using. Unless you know the password, you will NOT be
able to burn it.

Ok, you claim that you are unable to burn a particular ISO "because I don't know
the password."

Could YOU elaborate a little on that? Then I will be able to give you a better
answer.

What file is asking for a password when you attempt to burn an ISO? Is a
program of some sort asking for a password? Is Windows asking for a password?
What?

If the password is internal to the file you are attempting to burn, you will be
unable to burn it until you know the correct password and enter it. PERIOD.

If the password is internal to the program you are trying to use, you will be
unable to burn your ISO until you know and enter the correct password. PERIOD.

In any case, if you are encountering a legitimate dialog, you will be unable to
complete it without the necessary password, no matter WHICH program or OS you
use.

Is that clear enough? If not, perhaps someone else can make it clearer than I
have. I can't make it any clearer.

Re: what program to use to burn ISO file to CD?

My guess is that Dan is trying to burn something like a Linux LiveCD or a
Bart's PE .iso. Nothing is asking him for a password. He is trying to get on
to a system for which no one knows the password.

Re: what program to use to burn ISO file to CD?

"ISO image file to burn to CD for password problem"

1.the password problem is a computer with missing (administrator password).
12/15 - "wow help"=(somehow my wife set me a administrator password which I
never had. now we have 3 new users and have a password that I never had.
unfortunately she forgot the password. I cannot log on to the administrator
but i can log on one user account. Anyone have any ideas)

2. The ISO file in question is part of the solution i found here-
http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ -i.e. "burn ISO file to CD"

If i am not mistaken the above solution "fixing a missing Administrator
Password." is the only way to restore/create another password while
maintaining the integrity of the computer. Except of course re-installing the
OS, which is the one i settled on to fix a Missing Admin. Password.

i hope this is clear enough and thank you for your interest. i would of
worded it differently after re-reading it. -Dan

Re: what program to use to burn ISO file to CD?

May I suggest that you look at the information listed here:

http://www.jimmah.com/vista/Administ..._of_admin.aspx

You won't need to burn an .iso in order to implement the procedure there, as
long as you have a Vista installation DVD on hand. The second procedure is
particularly powerful without being overly involved.

Without knowing more about the history of the problem system I'm not sure
what else to suggest. But as long as the built-in admin account is intact,
and as long as you have an installation DVD, you should be able to implement
that procedure. It works well. I've tested it several times.
