itunes

i have been trying to download stuff of the internet such as itunes and when
it gets so far through the install it comes up with this message --the system
administrator has set policies to prevent this installation -- .the account
is set as an administrator nd a was wondering if there is something that can
be switched off so i can download programs i need.

I am pretty sure that message is being generated by "Parental Controls".
You need to logon with administrator account. Then you can find out by going to Control Panel > Parental Controls > Click the user id in question > Look for Web Restrictions: High/Medium/Low and click on that and you should see something to the effect of "Block File Downloads". Uncheck that and hit OK and OK yourself out of Parental Controls and you should be able to download Itunes.
