| Windows XP Pro | My Folders Disappeared A friend of mine has Windows Vista on his laptop pre-installed. It was running all fine. One day whn he switched it on and all his manually created folders from his USER folder on the desktop were gone... ... He can search for them ... ... n they exist in their place... ... all system n system-created folders ( such as documents, videos, music etc.) are visible but not the ones which he himself created (including folders created by programs like MSN Messenger's MY RECEIVED FILES) For the time being he has copy pasted those folders with other names with the help of search. Any help will be extremely appreciated. Last edited by ADDXB; 01-03-2008 at 04:48 AM.. |
