| | Changing an account I just bought this laptop and although i have changed the name of the account in places it still says the previous users name. For example when the task manager comes up it still says user and the previous owner. How do i change this?? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Changing an account The only way to change the "C:\Users\(your username)" to reflect the changes in the areas you mentioned, is to create a new user account and delete the old one or reinstall Vista. Be sure to transfer the personal user files over when creating the new account. See frame 6 of this tutorial, and click "Keep Files" to save your old accounts files. User Account - Delete Shawn |
