ActiveX and adobe???

my laptop with wndows vista says i need admin permission to download activex
controller and adobe iam the admin..i so need some advice my children can not
download any games or even play them on the net...please please tell me what
to do i will be the best mum in the world if it can be fixed..thanks.bx
