user accounts

I use a admin account on my computer but when I added standard user account
it will not open some web pages for example when I go to my yahoo mail it
will show the email but when I click on it, it will not show any text, but
when I use the administrator account the web page works fine, I can see and
read all emails. Another example is when I go to ask.com and search under
the standard user it comes up as a blank page but will show search results
under the administrator account. I have windows vista home and 7.0 explorer.

RE: user accounts

I created a standard account. The new account does not allow Internet access.
Any site I try to bring up (www.google.com, www.yahoo.com, whatever) displays
an error message. Using any other account that already existed on the
computer, Internet access works just fine. Any ideas why the new account
doesn't allow Internet access?

RE: user accounts

I tried make a standard user account (for my cat) and it worked just fine.
Are you using a connection, where you have to deliver passwords and username
to get connected?
I could imagine some problems here, because such informations are stored in
userfolders and userprofiles. But there may be a way to fill in these
informations for a new user.
iF THATS NOT IT - TRY TO REINSTALL THE USER.
I wasn't shouting - the cat hits the CaplsLock.
