| | one program is blocking other programs to start? I installed a program for a second time but I got a message that the evaluationperiod had expired. (Nero trialversion 8). From then some programs won't start anymore. PCTools told me that another program is blocking their programs. I uninstalled Nero, but that didn't resolve the problem. Curious that Vista can't handle this. Any idea where to remove the evalution-expired key? Is there another reason? Henk |

| | RE: one program is blocking other programs to start? Nero makes a lot of file associations when installed, and the installer does not clean the registry very good. If you don't want to mess with the registry and registry cleaners, the best way will be to reinstall the programs, you cant use anymore, hopefully this will overwrite the Nero settings left. It is not recommanded to clean up registry by microsoft - but certainly I do. -- BirgerH "Henk" wrote: Quote: > I installed a program for a second time but I got a message that the > evaluationperiod had expired.
