Running Compaq compiler 6.6.0 on Windows Vista

I cannot run this program if I sign up as a user with full administrative
rights but if I sign as an administrator, I can run it. The problem shows as
follows. I open the program and when I try to load a workspace it crashes
and aborts. I tried to right click and run as administrator, but it does not
help. I use this computer, most of the time, as a user with full
admnistrative rights and it is anoying to be required to switch to another
account just to run this program. Any suggestions are most welcome.
