Vista - Privacy & IP Address

I have signed up with this discussion group and have a question about privacy
that I can't seem to find anywhere. When I created a profile here and asked
to agree to your privacy statement I was given a warning that my IP Address
will be given out as well, but that is readable with some software such as
Outlook Express.

I'd like to read what I agreed to again; but, I can't seem to find that
information. Where could I go to read this warning again?
