Adminstrator

I am the owner and only user of my pc. Why is it I can not view files and
folders on this machine and how do I correct this very irrating issue?

Hi, Dee. What you are asking is actually a perpetual question for everyone, at least for common users like you and me. In layman term, it's a protection to the integrity of the computer. To gain access to the file/folder you're denied of, Right click the file/folder, click Run As Administrator, then open the file. Please tell me if it works for you.

Hi, Dee. What you are asking is actually a perpetual question for everyone, at least for common users like you and me. In layman term, it's a protection to the integrity of the computer. Hi Dee,

You may want to use the "take ownership" to your right click menu option. To do this, simply follow this tutorial: Context Menu - Take Ownership

This will give your account the ability to access and modify the data in the folders and the files.

You might also want to enable the administrator account in your system. To do this, simply follow this tutorial: Administrator Account
