Bad password, No vista disk

I bought a new lap top with Windows Vista allready installed. The computer
came without a Windows Installation disk. I recently changed my only
administator account password and I was so sure what is but the computer
won't accept anything even close to what I am so sure is my password. Now
I've tried to open the hidden administrator account but without any success.
Like I said, I don't have a Vista disk so I can't reinstall Windows Vista.
Help please!

Call the manufacturer and ask them to send you a Windows disk, most
will for little or no cost, some will refuse under any circumstances.
Then if that works you are done, if that does not work go online and
find Hiren's Boot CD, it is used by lots of system admins to reset
users passwords in this circumstance. It is a DANGEROUS piece of
software, it can do ALOT more, but it should work for your purposes if
you stay focused.

Hi Jess & John,

This tutorial will show you how to reset the password so you can gain access again. If you are completely locked out, then you may need to make the boot CD/DVD from Method Three on a friends computer to use on yours to reset it.
