standard account ICONs

When I create a standard user account for someone, their desktop has many
icons for programs I don't want them to access. I think one way to fix that
is to move those icons from the shared folders to my (admin) account folder,
but isn't there a better way? Even if I move the icon to my admin folder,
can't they access the programs through the start menu? How do I keep them
from accessing programs I only want accessed by the admin account?

Mike

Hello Mike,
I'm no geek nor MVP. I do know one TEDIOUS way.
Pick the program in question, right click > choose Properties > top panel choose Security > highligt the user'saccount name, click EDIT > after the prompt, check the 1st box under DENY ( the rest of the boxes will be checked auto) > click APPY/OK.
As far as I understand that program is now denied to the user indicated.
When I have a minute, I'll give you a screenshot for illustration.
