| Newbie Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Login Troubles Hi, I have tried to access my user account and it says to enter a password.. My account has never had a password before and i have tried to put in all the passwords i have used in the past. I am of Administrator level and the computer built in Administrator is disabled although i know the password. I cannot access my computer at all as the account i use is the only account on the computer.. How can i reset my computer to allow myself access to my account or access the computer's admin account to remove my password? |

After you have regain access to your computer, you might want to consider having 2 admin accounts, for situation like this, or if one admin acct has been affected or corrupted, you still have another one to fall back on. I keep my built-in admin active. I never use it, but it's my trump card in the sleeve. |

If you care to or want to, go through all those pages from vista account administration, you may find the thread. Don't ask me how long ago, not a clue. |
