| | Start menu shortcuts missing, help please. I have lost all of the default Windows Vista start menu shortcuts. I did not delete them, they just aren’t there anymore. I recently removed my K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and installed the newer version 3.9. I also removed Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 Ultra and installed version 8 Ultra. I only have five shortcuts left, Utorrent, windows update, 2 office 2007 shortcuts and default programs. I only have one user account on my Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 (X86). I have tried creating a new user account to copy the shortcuts back from, but since they were removed from “All Users” (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu), I cannot get them back. Any ideas? Please help. Thank you. |
