    Vista Accounts Mystery--Help!

I'm still trying to get the hang of Vista accounts and the haze that surrounds them!
I have only recently "converted" from XP and am having trouble with Folders that are refused access!
Following Brinks excellent Tutorial on this site I've created an Administrator account so I now have my original account which I gave Admin Privileges too. According to Properies tag most files seem to have System, All Users and my account.

If I open Widows Explorer and expand my User Folder, it has 24 Folders of which 13 have sub-Folders (ie they have an expansion arrow against them). However of this 13, there are 7 that when I try to see their content with W Explorer, I get the message "C:\Users\Paul's\Application Data is not accessible. Access is Denied". The pop-up heading is "Location is not available". However by earlier experience I know that I can delete these files without any complaint!

These file are Application Data, Local settings, Nethood, Printhood, Send To, Start Menu and Templates! There was one more, Cookies which I have deleted and nothing seems to complain ( I mainly use Mozilla Thunderbird).

However if I now open the new Administrator account (but still in my account), I get the same files plus Cookies and the same message.

Right, when I now swap to my Administrator account and open W Explorer for the Admin User entry I only get 10 Folders, all the barred ones plus AppData are misssing!!
It's the same if I open my Paul's Account, all the barred ones are now missing.
so am I to assume that a) Explorer is very selective in what it shows you or b) I've forgotten to change the Files views in the control Panel!

Why are these files barred to my Paul's Account? Why cannot I get ito my start Menu?

Suggestions welcomed! (No rude comments about Vista please)

    regards
    Paul 100

The folders where you are seeing the 'access denied' error message are not
real folders. They are called Junction Points and are only there because
that folder which was used in XP is no longer used in Vista. Visit the
following website and read the article for a complete explanation and a
list of all these junction points. You should not delete or change the
    permisions on the junction points.

Svrops.com - Windows Vista Junction Points:
    http://www.svrops.com/svrops/articles/jpoints.htm

To see all of these folders, you need to enable the hidden files and folders
option. In Windows Explorer, click the Organize Button/Folder and Search
Options/View Tab. In the Hidden Files section, select the 'Show Hidden Files
    and Folders' option.

Thank you Ronnie for your reply. I would never have found the answer by an ordinary search. It's a shame that the svrops site seems to have been allowed to decay with very little Vista info apart from this. I have MS 'Step by step for Windows Vista' ($34.99) by J Preppernau and J Cox but it does not mention these junction points! I suppose it means investing in an even thicker and more expensive volume!
    thanks again. Paul100
