| | Windows Password Here is the situation: Mother got daughter laptop Mother put in her name/password (presumably) upon initial boot Laptop turned on/off (cold) several times with no problems Daughter changes the name -does nothing with password Now upon startup she is asked for a password (never happened before) and the password that her mother initially used is not working. Machine is asking for a password for the daughter's name not mothers help -- Will |

| | Re: Windows Password You wouldnt happen to have something like a window password reset disc would you? If you have 100% no way to reset your password, use this site. There is a iso that will reset your windows password. (is your administrator account enabled? | | Re: Windows Password Are there any other accounts(Admin) on the computer? If not you can probaly find a iso that will change/blank your windows password.
