Vista - user account not found

I have three user accounts set up on my computer. My boyfriend went to sign
on to his user account one day and his defaults were all gone (favs and
wallpaper) and now he can't log on to his user account at all. any ideas?

all of a sudin I have lost my user account as administrator, My wifes name
is on another account and her password does not work. How can I fix this

log in build-in administrator account and on this account diagnose your issue and try to fix
