User Accounts

When I change to Administrator from Standard User and then click on 'change
account type' i default back to standard user.
I cannot install, uninstall, restore or use acer recovery or access other
activities.
I am the sole user of the pc and i have always had full access without a
password, this is now being asked for and i do not have one
Can this situation be recovered without reinstalling Vista home edition 32
bit?

RE: User Accounts

Have you made sure you're logged in as local administrator, before changing
account type?
