| | RE: vista folder permissions Are you certain that you need to change permissions on the System32 folder? What are you trying to accomplish? I'm just curious. Is it possible that there's another way to accomplish your end objective? I strongly advise NOT disabling UAC. This is a new OS to you. You might want to learn how to work with it instead of starting right out to defeat it. UAC and the other control features of this OS have a purpose for existing.
